Mulgrave

The electorate of Mulgrave extends southward along the coast from Cairns to Innisfail. It takes in the following major population areas:

the southern suburbs of Cairns including Mount Sheridan, White Rock and Bentley Park
Edmonton
Gordonvale
Yarrabah
Babinda
Innisfail

The electorate also includes extensive sugarcane fields, banana plantations, tropical fruit orchards and cattle farms. The remaining 45% of the electorate is devoted to nature reserves, including the large Wooroonooran National Park, home to Queensland’s highest mountain, Mount Bartle Frere.
